Finally! We arrive at Kuzuko!

The drive to Kuzuko was 2 and a half hours long, and we finally arrived at Kuzuko at around 5:30pm local time. We had a lovely welcome from Catherina and several of the Kuzuko staff, who helped us unload all of our gear into our new home in the staff village. After settling in, Rodwell picked us up to take us to the Lodge to discuss the project with Catherina. She kindly invited us to an unexpected dinner at the Lodge restaurant which was delicious, and just what we needed after a very long day and night of travelling.

Full up and happy, we headed back to the staff village in an open top Land Cruiser, and realised just how cold african winter nights can be! Exhausted, we all collapsed into our nice warm beds so that we could make a nice early start on the project the very next day.
